We were delighted to hear the news that Cruz Novillo has been honoured with an exhibition dedicated to his work in Cuenca, Spain.
A couple of years ago we were lucky enough to work with the designer and his son on the publication of one of our most rewarding books 'Cruz Novillo: Logos'.
The show is called 'Primeros 60 años de Arte y Diseño' and will remain open until September 29, 2019 at Casa Museo Zavala. It charts a journey through his work over six decades and will contain many of the identities he has designed that have come to define modern Spanish identity design.
Its aim is to be the most complete exhibition on Cruz Novillo and the hope is that, fingers crossed, it will also find its way to be exhibited in other cities.
The exhibition contains all aspects of the artist/designer’s wide-ranging output, including his modular sculptures, diafragma series, logos, movie posters, packaging and ephemera.
Dates:
Until 29th September 2019
Location:
Casa Museo Zavala
Plaza San Nicolás, 1
16001 Cuenca
